How Do These Peace Technologies Actually Create
Peace?
His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the
TM and TM-Sidhi programs, has identified the source of conflicts
in society as stress in the collective consciousness. Collective
consciousness is comprised of the combined influences from all
members of society.
Just as one might experience discomfort, fear or anger
when entering a room full of highly agitated people, our society
experiences similar negative effects when there is significant stress
in the collective consciousness of society. War, hostilities, poverty,
and sufferings arise as a result of this collective stress.
If, instead, one enters a room filled with close family
and friends who bring joy, ones experience would be uplifting
and pleasant. In the same way, when the TM and TM-Sidhi programs
is performed in a group equal in size to the square root of 1% of
a population, harmful stresses in the collective consciousness are
dissolved. The result is peaceful resolution of problems, harmonious
relationships between individuals and countries, and economic growth
and stability for the world
This phenomena is known as the Maharishi
Effect. Nearly 50 studies conducted during the last 28 years
have documented immediate, measurable improvements to an entire
given population when the Maharishi Effect was applied.

Effect actually works.
Why Hasnt This Influence Been Sustained?
The groups during the studies practiced these peace
technologies for just a limited period of time. When they applied
these technologies, the collective consciousness was relieved of
significant stresses. But when the groups disbanded for economic
reasons, stresses once again accumulated in the collective consciousness
and hostilities returned.
